Welcome to Little Hoofprints—a private early childhood school set in a beautiful, open farm environment where children are free to learn, play and simply be children.
We are passionate about protecting childhood and supporting the healthy development of the whole child—cognitively, emotionally, socially and physically. Our warm, nurturing approach provides a home away from home where every child can feel safe, flourish and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Mission
At Little Hoofprints, play is at the heart of learning. Our programme balances purposeful, teacher-guided activities with child-led free play. This allows children to develop important early learning skills while using their imaginations, exploring their environment, engaging their senses and building relationships with others.
Your child’s academic foundation and emotional well-being are equally important to us. We provide a safe, nurturing environment that supports the development of the whole child—brain, body and nervous system—while allowing children the freedom to move, explore and simply be children.
Our aim is to prepare confident, capable and resilient children for school and for life, without rushing them through the precious years of childhood. Every child has only one childhood, and we believe it deserves to be protected.
Vision
In our calm, farm-style environment, children feel safe, known and supported. Through play-based learning and attachment-informed teaching, we create the emotional security children need for healthy development and meaningful learning.
Our programme is developmentally appropriate and carefully designed to build strong academic foundations, emotional well-being, sensory development, confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning. Older children are gradually introduced to more structured activities to prepare them for Grade R, Grade 1 and the school environment their parents choose.
Children thrive with a healthy balance of structure and freedom. We provide predictable routines and clear boundaries, together with plenty of time to move, imagine, explore and play.
Our team specialises in early childhood development and is passionate about every child. Enrolment is limited to 25 children, allowing us to provide the individual attention, care and developmental support each child deserves.
Please note that Little Hoofprints is a mainstream early childhood learning environment and is not registered as a remedial or special-needs school.
